Meetify was founded by Dan and Angel Rutledge, the innovative creators of SignUpGenius.

In 2008, Dan Rutledge built one of the web's first sign up tools to help he and Angel coordinate several groups they were leading. Together, they co-led the online scheduling company for over a decade as it grew to serve over 100 million users per year.

With expertise in technology, startups, and scheduling, Dan and Angel are excited to bring their passion to Meetify. They're continuing their mission to help people save time and build deep relationships with easy-to-use, impactful tools.

How it started

As it did for many, the pandemic really galvonized for us how precious face-to-face time is. But when the world re-opened, we were disappointed to see people keep meeting virtually. And when we tried to coordinate in-person meetups ourselves, the process was maddening.

Who wants to juggle a map app, calendar, and emails to find a lunch spot across town? Why didn't scheduling software factor in location? Why is something so valuable so tricky to arrange?

That's when it hit us — this is our kind of problem to solve because we know scheduling and we're passionate about people. We hope our solution helps you connect more easily and deepens your relationships, no matter what you're meeting for!
