6 Most Asked Questions about Meetify

In all the months of building Meetify and prepping the Coming Soon announcement, Dan and I wrestled with one persistent question.

When can we use it?

I love the name. How did you decide on it?

Good news. We can answer many of these questions already.

When can we use it? The next time you hear from us, we’ll have a launch date for you. We’d love to tell you it will be early October, but honestly, it will depend on how beta testing goes. In case you’re wondering, beta testing is the last stage before a product launch when a group of people get to try it out to see if it’s as easy to use as intended.

Can I be one of the first to try it out? We’d love that. If you’re someone who schedules multiple in person meetings every week, and they require you finding central locations and coordinating best times to meet, you’d be our ideal beta tester. We’ll give you the first 6 months of our Essentials subscription with no ads free as a thank you. Just sign up here and more info will be coming your way very soon. We do have a limited number of slots for beta testers, so sign up ASAP if you’re interested.

Will it have ads or will I pay a subscription fee? That’s up to you. We believe connecting face-to-face is so important, everyone should be able to schedule meetups for free. So, if you’re someone who needs it for personal use occasionally, you’re welcome to use it for free with ads on it. If you fall in love with Meetify and want yourself and those you invite to meetings to have the best experience, our Essentials plan will still feel like a steal! The paid plan will be ad free and include extra features and less limits. It’s perfect for those who schedule in person meetings a lot.

I love the name Meetify. How did you decide on it? We consulted some brilliant minds, aka “a group of friends,” who helped us make the decision. We wanted the input to reflect the type of people we think will use Meetify, so we chose a diverse group in terms of ages, genders, work experiences, ethnicities and understanding of tech. Will there be an app? Meetify will not be a downloadable app for the foreseeable future. We’ve built the software in a responsive website, meaning you’ll have a similar experience using it, whether you’re on a laptop, tablet or smartphone. It’ll automatically fit your screen on any of those devices and still have full functionality. This is good news for several reasons. You won’t need to download an app that requires updates constantly. Plus, you won’t have to worry about having to deal with the App Store if you ever need help with your subscription and billing. We can take care of you directly. Best of all, any features available in your account from one spot will be available anywhere else you’re logged into your account.
