This week, I’m embarking on an epic sales trip, catching a flight to the Outer Rim to bring seamless meeting coordination to every rebel in the galaxy.
Hoping to find some nice coffee shops, or at least a cantina of scum and villainy, to meet up with people. It’s helpful to have a tool that can search between two different solar systems or by specific dietary preference, so I can avoid Womp Rat dishes.
Yes, it might be a tough week of travel, but the Force of relationship building is strong, and getting face to face with potential clients is worth it to avoid the Dark Side of virtual meetings.
I thought I was the chosen one who could bring balance to the scheduling chaos, but today’s sales meeting was a galactic disaster!
I pitched Meetify to Kylo Ren, hoping to awaken the good in him and convince him to switch to modern, personalized scheduling software designed for thriving relationships. But it seems the Empire is firmly committed to Calendly. They love sending impersonal links that torture recipients with endless options, and they prioritize virtual meetings to keep everything cold and lifeless. Classic Imperial vibes.
But sales is never easy and I’ve learned NO doesn’t mean no—it just means not yet. I’m jumping to hyperspace to keep spreading the word that relationships deserve better software. The universe needs A NEW HOPE, and I must transmit this message before it’s too late.
Today, my son and I narrowly avoided death while grabbing a drink in Mos Eisley.
I was taking a break from my sales meetings when we bumped into some violent smugglers who were on edge because their supplier hadn’t shown up with their contraband. The cantina music ground to a halt as the smugglers drew their blasters, about to unleash their pent-up anger on us.
Thankfully, my son was a quick thinker and recommended they try using Meetify to coordinate their supplier meetups. Being a map-based scheduling software, you can always ensure your invitee will get to the right cantina. The built-in text or email invites and reminders ensure smooth communication and fewer missed meetings, whether virtual or in person.
They growled and muttered some curses, but it was clear as they walked away that they were pulling out their phones to try the mobile-friendly website.
That was too close for comfort, but I’m thankful the scheduling Force is so strong with my Padawan.
Well, today’s sales meeting with a group of salvaged droids was about as smooth as a blaster shot to the foot.
I got connected through some Jawas to a group of droids that needed to coordinate meetups for oil baths. I pitched Meetify’s Google and Outlook calendar sync features, which ensure you never get double-booked by checking for events already on your calendar and then adding new meetups automatically. It’s perfect for avoiding embarrassing scheduling mix-ups with your bestie translator droid. Unfortunately, these salvaged droids had no interest since they hadn’t had a software update since the Clone Wars and were still running Lotus SmartSuite (yes, really).
Honestly, I’m feeling a little discouraged with only one day left on this trip. But sales is like navigating through an asteroid field—you’ve got to dodge the problems and keep going. I’m not giving up yet!
On the final day of my sales trip, I met with none other than General Chewbacca himself.
And guess what? The Rebel Alliance is now officially using Meetify to coordinate their galaxy-saving operations!
From ongoing booking links embedded in their communications to group polls that let pilots and strategists agree on the best times and locations for meetups (without any drama about the Kessel Run), Meetify’s features are now helping the Rebellion stay one step ahead of the Empire.
This is more than just a sales win. It's a reminder that excellent organization and deep relationships are at the heart of every victory.
The galaxy feels a little brighter tonight. Hope is alive—and it’s scheduled for 3 PM in Docking Bay 7.
